She edited the first edition of The Impact Catalog, published through Impact Publications, Inc., for which she was the founding president. For nearly twenty years she was also on staff with Parents magazine as its Family Editor. Trilby is an active member of Toastmasters International and speaks at literacy events across the country about writing nonfiction books for kids.
She lives in California with her husband Jim and their four children.
